Im about to start building a pc and just need help making a decision on the PSU.
This will be the spec of the comp:

Q6600 @2.4 GHz
9800GTX
Corsair 2GB PC2-6400 C4 XMS2 (2x1GB)
500GB Samsung Spinpoint SATA2 16MB
Asus X38 MOBO

I have had the Hiper 880W PSU recommended but would just like some second opinions.

Cheers,

Flare

good unit but at least in light of hearing a lot of them going pop lately, I'd recommend something else.

Corsair HX and TX Range
Seasonic S12 and M12
Tagan BZ range

You know I love my OCZ,

My 520ModStream is powering 2 HDD's, 1 Raptor HDD, 9 fans, SLI graphics card, X2 Athlon, DVDRW, OCZ memory, silent and reliable.

If you want a lot of wattage i'd go for

Any of the above but personally i wouldn't go below 600watt or Silverstone 700 / 850 watt, rock solid.
