Spec me a Laptop for my wife

Hello there, my Wifes father just got his yearly bonus of a sickening amount of money (really really sickening) and gave her £500, she would like a laptop to play wow on at about 30-40 fps on medium to high settings and the price limit is £500 although she would like to spend less so we can get some other bits as well, other than that something reliable and well built please!

I'm not too knowledgeable in the mobility market, dunno about 30-40 fps on that price limit, but I'll try to find some performance charts.

This seems ok, the 5470 should be fine for wow mainly because it isn't very hard on the GPU, the AMD CPU on the other will likely not work as efficiently as an intel one at the same speed.

Just checked the cata requirements and this should work but that will be based on the minimum requirements, you might be able to crank it up to medium with decent framerates, either way this will be the best on Aria for that budget I think.

As others have said I think you may struggle on that budget, unless you look at second hand laptops or have the graphics settings very low
