Hey all,
As you may know, I have recently purchased some parts to build up a small computer as I thought my laptop was on it's way out. Well, it turns out, that as of today... it was the SSD all along. The SATA connections aren't connected to the PCB anymore and that is what was causing the "drop outs"... I wonder if I should RMA it or if it would be a waste of time as it may be classed as "user damage".
Anyways, enough jibbing on... let's get to the rig! :)
I'll just list the parts used, and then show you some pictures.
CoolerMaster Elite 342 mATX case.
MSI G41M-P25 DDR3 motherboard
Intel Core2Duo E8400 @stock (anything above 340FSB doesn't POST! :()
Actic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro (my TRUE doesn't fit)
Corsair XMS3 DDR3-1600MHz C9-9-9-24 @1333MHz C7-7-7-20
ATI HD4630 512MB
Mushkin Callisto 40GB SSD boot drive
Samsung F3 1TB for data storage
Corsair Builder Series CX500w
I must say, this rig absolutely flies! It's only being used as a low power rig for MSN, internet browsing and sorting out iTunes for my phone etc.
How about some pictures? Not bad for a phone, hey? I do love my iPhone4.
Keep in mind that cable management in this case is nonexistent...

My SSD is not out here because I can't be bothered to get a mount for it... it's out here because if I move it, it doesn't work. :cry The black thing in the middle of the drive is a bit of plastic which is around 1cm high.
I got the 500w PSU because if I wanted get a more powerful GPU further down the line, I'd be covered.
