My dad got cold called today about broadband, so instead of the usual methods he decided to do this:

He said, whats your home number? the women said, why?
He said, well you think its alright to have mine.

then later on, she said how much do you pay for broadband?
He said, none of your business!
She said, well my phone number isnt any of your business.

He promptly hung up :D

Yeh, but if they phone after a month of being on that register, we can seek legal action, that usually scares people off!

I generally tell them to hang on for a second, then i'll go and do something for a couple of hours... They normally hang up by then... normally...
