Hi there

Could you possibly advise please

I have built a machine all part purchased from Aria, 3rd purchase & very happy with service

We have a problem though

the mother board is a MSIK9N NEO-F nF550, with an AM2 cpu, & SATA HD drive, amongst other bits

Our problem is when we load in the m/board driver, the machine locks up, when we just let XP sort a generic driver out it works ok, apart from the network, we have been onto MSI update & loaded the LAN driver in separatley, but we can still not get the network to work.

Any advice at all?

Many thanks Brian

Try downloading the file from here. And running it directly inside Windows.

Long shot...but...check the bios to see if the onboard adapter is activated...You prolly aint messed around in there...so it will as mentioned prolly be a driver prob...some of those disk's that come with the board are rubbish and contain ancient drivers.

hope this helps....

Also grab the latest drivers from www.nvidia.com - you can be sure then that they are the absolute latest.
