View Full Version : My new one...
I'm nearly finished with my setup. Tbh I'm thinking to buy a new case, a larger one - not sure for now but the tubing isn't perfect at all (another drill hole on the rad side panel would have been perfect) and it's maybe worth considering that, lets see:
Black/Red rig (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XL3nYtj_N9w)
Generally pretty smart I'd say! Interesting having the side panel full of fans too. Looking forward to seeing what it's like when you consider it finished, but it's good in this intermediary stage so far IMO.
Thats an insane amount of fans!
Woah...how loud are those fans with the sidepanel on? :p
that looks pretty awesome mate, nice job :thumb:
I assume the rads/fans are remaining on the outside of the case? Are they quiet with that number of them ? :D
I'm impressed though, hopefully this will inspire a few others to go down the w/c route :thumb:

That must sound like a small aeroplane when your palying games!!?!
Interesting mod putting the rads on the outside pannel. Looks good.

nice build
would be better with the rads in the case though
but still well done

Yes, they stay where they are...outside :D

Not at all :)
The Heatmaster (controller (Pump, Temp, Fans) for the whole w/c setup) isn't configured properly yet. At idle the fans don't rotate and just start slightly when stressed (e.g. Prime).
Every fan (except the rear one which is plugged onto the mainboard) will be controlled relating to the temperature of the water. In the video the controller was set to 29C water temp. which I'll be raise to 33-35C - at that setting and under stress the fans would just rotate barely if at all. I haven't seen the graphics temp. over 45C so far - really nice to have all cooled by water :)

Considered that at first but there's absolutely no space for all the rads within the case.

Anymore than two rads don't reduce temps much

Just goes to show that lots / big fans barely moving are really quiet, compared to a few / small fans moving a lot :thumb:
That's why my rig has 6 case fans (iirc) :D
A lot of fans, nice rig!
Thanks :)

Got no space for more than one within the case.

Added after 5 minutes:

Let me quote what Spaceboy wrote...

Cheers - I used to use a DSLR but went back to Film SLR :)
Those were taken without a tripod as the connector of my tiny Sony is way to small for the tripod head.
