I got a bargain basement motherboard from Aria at the weekend, a p35 platinum, and on inspection two of the plastic lugs were missing (one was in the bottom of the motherboard bag broken), and the circu-pipe cooling was mashed up like it'd been dropped on it. The mobo box has a sticker on the side saying 'Graded Goods' and the number 1 circled. They're also initialled and dated.

So I'd like to know what grade one actually means, as I'm not entirely happy with the motherboard cooling. I can't phone to RMA as I work through the hours that the phones are open, so I'll probably have to just straight RMA them, I think I need to tell them within 48 hours the goods are damaged.

Email cserv@aria.co.uk and let them know.

Right, I've had a chat with MSI, and they're going to send out the whole Circu-pipe cooling system to me using next day delivery for £15+vat. I'd spend that and more to get the board replaced if I factor in return postage costs etc.

what were the plastic lugs broken off of?

The vrm part of the cooler and the bottom of the NB part of the cooler

oh ok, you may want to ask if the neo2-fr cooler is cheaper as they are the same board.

Ah didn't know that. Hmmmm, it does look slightly different, the cooling setup, and the circu-pipe cooling covers something near the dimms. I've ordered now anyway. They actually had some new replacement stock in but the one they're sending out to me is new, it's off a board, but is missing the badges; which is why it was removed.

I get all the springs and clips with it too.
