I decided to do something with the x2 that I have, So I bought a case, and ill make it all pretty and show you guys. No clue what I'll do with the computer, but I'll decide at a later date.

Plan:

-Paint the case black and white, and i'll stick a nice design on there too.
-I may need to cut a hole in the side to fit the heatsync, but that's ok I'll make it work.
-I'll probably keep a black and white theme as much as I can within the computer

HARDWARE:

-AMD Athlon x2 2.6
-ATI 4670
-Freezer Pro 7 cooler.
-2 GB RAM
-250gb IDE HDD
-Mobo Asus M2N68 - AM

Stuff I need:

If anyone has anything they'd like to donate to the build that'd be nice. (i'll buy it otherwise)

I could do with some ddr2 ram, only have 1x2gb stick and it's value ram at that.

I have to go looking for a psu, I think I have one that will work, but I'm not sure if the case I bought will fit it or not. So I may need a micro psu.

Also looking for UV (or white) cathodes and some matching fans.

Rounded IDE cable.

SATA DVD drive.

I have 2GB OCZ Gold DDR2 800Mhz, Liteon SATA DVD Drive and a rounded IDE cable.

Do all of it for £32 delivered?

If you need anything else then let me know.

I might pass on that. I'll think about getting the ide cables new as they're only like £3. and im sure i could find a Sata dvd drive
Ram can wait till it's cheaper too

Only a cheap one. Shiny Black/Silver Slim ATX/MATX Case. I didn't want to waste money on an expensive one if it is to be my first case mod. :)

Good point :)

If you've got any beige cases lying about that you don't use anymore, try out simple modding on them first. E.g, do window cutouts on them, practise using a dremel and such. Thats if, thats what you have in mind :D

I'm painting it, I think I might have to re-think my cpu heatsinc though.
