it was french and spoke to the insurance today they are getting the wreck 2moro :(
OMGBBQ!
But seriously, that sucks dude. My dad had a car fire once. He called the fire brigade but by the time he got there he had put it out with a dinky fire extinguisher he had in the boot.
Firemen looked disappointed when they turned up, I think they were looking forward to something to put out!
Good job you wasn't driving at the time, was it a hot hatch? (groan - ill get me coat ).
Sorry to hear about your bad luck hope the insurance sorts it out quickly for you.
Same happened to me in August last year mate, it's definitely not nice at all.
Make sure you take plenty of pics of the damage of the inside to show the damage was a result of an electrical fire as they told me they couldn't blame a single component on igniting the fire as there was nothing left for them to pinpoint as the point of ignition.
Sorry to hear about that mate, it ain't nice at all.
Also Google the make and model of the car to see if the car is prone to fires, as I only found out afterwards that in the Focus I had it was a common fault that had sometimes started engine fires.

I reckon it'll be alright with a bit of hammerite and a new bumper.
Hmm straight diesel 306... there's not much that can set fire on them.... electric fan wiring I guess.. its not common anyway, usually the fans just stop working.
hope everything goes well with the insurance claim :thumb:

Bloody hell , thats crazy, You didnt have anything to do with the electrics such as adding a subwoofer a headunit or baically anything aftermarket to the car , as it can void the insurance and they can refuse to pay
But at least everyones okay !
