View Full Version : XClio A380
I really like this case, and it would be great to see it stocked. I would certainly buy one.

Strange, the tool box is the same as the Gigabyte ones
What do you think of the case? Personally, I think it look awesome.
Oh, just quickly googled "tagan a380" and it seems they make it.
May I be honest by saying that I think the fans look a little tacky? I can't see it being too quiet either. I've never been a fan of XClio cases though, nor their PSU's. Their little cartoons (that often seem very inaccurate) on their website hardly help their professionalism either.
But if it's your taste by all means I'm sure it's an alright case. Probably cools fairly well though I'm unsure of the kind of noise it's going to produce.

Had a quick browse and reviews say that the sound is ok. I can see what you mean about it looking tacky, it doesn't look very professional.
Even if the motors inside the fans were fairly quiet the amount of air being pushed would make a fairly turbulent noise. All for a sake of 2-3*c tops coming from a setup consisting of low rpm 120mm fans for example. The eager overclockers may say every degree counts which is fair enough. I suppose it depends on the price. Though really, considering the prices that other retailers stock it for, I could think of better built cases you'd want to consider of similar style like the Antec Nine Hundred.
Totally see where you're coming from. When I get the cash together to start my build I was swithering between this and the NZXT Apollo. I don't really need the extra cooling so I might aswell save a little money. :P
My local PC world has that case! I picked it up and it was soo light the materials were about 1mm thick. The quality was pants....Looks cack too
I'm sure this is a copy of a more well known branded case, it looks very familiar

I agree. And to think people pay as much as £80 for them.
There's no doubt that the equivalently priced "Gaming" case will have a poorer build quality than it's more conventional counterpart. The Antec Nine Hundred is a bit of an exception though.
