Well so far ive set up google webmaster tools to start indexing the site on a regular basis as well as the crawler. Have also edited the homepage of the site with some keywords and robot parameters using <meta> tags.
What else can i do to get my site indexed faster. We have it spammed across all the major clan recruitment sites and the likes. (well not spam but you know what i mean)
The site is currently ranked in the top 5 on google but mixed with all the recruitment topics on all the major sites.
what else is there to do to get my site to the top?

Whats the URL?
oh yea, that could help :D
www.whiteskillers.co.uk (might want to turn your sound down/off - still working on our permanent homepage)
forums can be found at www.whiteskillers.co.uk/forums/
Well - because the site is in flash you don't really have a chance... Because google looks at your source which is... blank... To put it simply, this is what google will see (simplified for human viewing):
keywords are Runescape, skilling, white, skillers, skill, clan, clans, community, fun, rs, rs2, rune, mmo, rpg, mmorpg, scape (source META tag).
Here is the homepage of Zybez:
keywords are Runescape Database, Runescape DB, quests, items, zones, npcs, skills, guides (source META tag)
Dungeoneering is our most popular skill guide relates to the page zybez.net/news/1156/dungeoneering_is_our_most_popular_skill_guide/
Basically, anything on your page will not be picked up by google! (To see what google will see - CTRL-U or View --> source)
@Mr Lime - what about them. They are (normally) nofollow - therefore they have no effect on your siterank.
This google search (http://www.google.co.uk/#sclient=psy&hl=en&safe=off&site=&source=hp&q=site:whiteskillers.co.uk&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&oq=&pbx=1&fp=ff01f0aca6245e1d) shows you all the pages of your site google has indexed.

This, really. In terms of SEO you've made life extremely hard for yourself by going with a purley flash-based website. Rumour has it that google doesn't even use the META keywords any more, and that's the only google-indexer readable content on your page!

Flash is a massive problem for SEO.
There used to be a 'trick' where you could use SWF object which covers the regular HTML with the flash content, so you could design a really simple text site with good navigation for indexing, then use SWFobject to cover each page with the flash content. This way the human user sees flash, however the crawlers just see the html, content and keywords.
However, it is about 4 years since I did something like that so the rules may have changed a bit since then.
Indeed, as per scottmac's post, one possibility is having HTML content and then marking it as not visible using CSS. However the google indexers nowadays are smart, and I have a horrible suspicion that they take note of content which has been marked as non-visible and ignore it.

I suspected as much, a few years ago it did work really well but if you go down that route I would read up on it first

yeh google wanted me to upload a text files with dirs i want to allow the bots to index.
Well the flash thing was purely temp, the guy that made it left the clan now, and no one knows how to update it. Not that i've like it from the start. People using iPads, iPods and the likes cant view it, which is quite a big market to be cut out from. I've created a template, i just have to make it play nice with IE, and the bulk out the pages.
I'm happy to write you a search engine friendly site as long as you agree to leave the link in the footer saying I wrote it. Does your host have PHP and MySQL enabled?

im capable, thanks for the offer though :) i've pretty much finished the template now. Just adding in our twitter and news feeds, then will bulk it out with all the info :)
if you just wondering its the smallest vps from webfusion :)
What CMS are you using? WordPress (which is obviously the best... and its free!)? Or are you not using a CMS. Because as well as making it easier to update your site, it puts your posts and pages in a database, which can then be used for an RSS feed, or basically anything else content driven.

well i wasnt planning on using one tbh. The only pages that really will be updated on a regular basis are news which i will simply read from the forums database.
If you don't want to - but WordPress is very good and easy to use! You can try a demo if you want (http://php.opensourcecms.com/scripts/details.php?scriptid=88). Its great if you ever want to expend your site in the future!
looks to me like vbulletin publishing suite would rock for your needs :)

yeh i was looking at IP.Content which would go along with the forum software and plugins but i cant justify spending an extra £40 to update 1 page which could be done with a simple bit of php :thumb:
At $285? Lol - WordPress + PHPbb + a plugin (there must be one for wordpress+phpbb...) would be better and cheaper!

not sure what your getting at but erm IPB is vastly superior to phpBB. There arnt many clans out there that use such software, and it helps us stand out from the crowd.
Plus as i said, its pointless having a cms to update 1 page... as i mentioned earlier.
Sorry - I was talking about VB publishing suite
