Hi everyone,
Just had this delivered today and it really doesnt want to co-operate!
It worked intially tested it and everything was fine playing games etc apart from the onboard sound had stopped working, then back onto the desktop and my PC completely locked up. Reset from the button and then it wouldnt go into Windows, just kept showing the loading bar, safe mode wouldnt load either. So disconnected everything and re-connected, however i left 2 of my 3 hard drives disconnected and it booted in but still locked up after a few secs.
So is this a power issue i have a OCZ 600W StealthXStream PSU which i thought would be more than enough
System Spec
Asus A8N-SLi
AMD Athlon64 X2 4400 1MB (Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 PRO)
2GB RAM
1 x 160GB Maxtor SATA
2 x 250GB Maxtor SATA (RAID Striped)
HP 20x DVDRW LightScribe Black 1040i-B
OCZ 600W StealthXStream PSU
Akasa Zen Silent-Cool Case
Old video card ATI Radeon X700 PCI-E
Any ideas? Am i being stupid and missing something really obvious
On a bizarre note, the odd occasion Windows has had a bit of time to boot up the sound wont initialize
