Not sure if this is in the correct forum but here goes.

Received an e mail today from aria customer services saying that my RMA had been declined. so, I rang up customer services and after being on hold for 20 minutes they finally answered. Explained to person on phone why I was ringing and he looked up why my RMA had been declined. It turns out that there is a bent pin on the CPU socket and they want to send it back to me. Obviously I did not bend the pin but as far as the person on the phone was concerned this is not Aria's problem but mine. This went on for about ten minutes him saying it is not his problem me saying that I want a replacement because as far as I am concerned I was sent a dodgy motherboard. I then asked to speak to his manager and was told the usual excuse that he was on the phone to another customer so I said get him to call me back in ten minutes as i am at work and I am going home soon. This he agreed to and funnily enough no one did call me back. Hmmm what a surprise. Then i came home and tried to ring customer services only to find that I couldn't get through to them because the line was busy ie engaged. This was at five fifteen even though the department doesn't close until five thirty. All I want is a replacement motherboard for the faulty one that was sent to me. Is that too much to ask. Any help from anyone connected to Aria would be greatly appreciated

Just out of interest check the box to see if there was a sticker on there that had been placed by Aria.

Only received an e mail today.

They still have the motherboard in their possession so I have no idea if they have put a sticker on it.

I know that there is no way that I bent the pin when putting the CPU into it.

Did it have the little plastic cover on over the cpu socket when you got it? And did you refit it when you returned it? I had to return a mobo that failed, not to Aria, and they were VERY strict on this and, iirc, the warranty was deemed void if i DIDN'T refit the pin protector on the cpu socket.

Yes it did have the cover on and yes I did replace it when I sent it back.

To be honest all I want is a replacement motherboard as soon as possible without any hassle.

The way it has gone so far I don't think it will happen without a struggle.

Did you not check first the pins weren't bent before attampting to insert cpu? There are also warning stickers on all aria mobos as far as I know advising you of this.
