Interesting use of MXM modules. I can only see this as a concept card (in it's current form anyway) as the cooling mechanism's quite rediculous and the card itself is quite large (height wise). Just don't see this card being any cheaper than two HD 3870X2's or three HD 3870's for example. On the other hand, Asus have launched strange dual cards in the past including the Asus 7800GT DUAL with external power transformer to mains..

Good find nevertheless though!

Marketing - twice as much publicity out of doing a 3 THEN a 4, than just jumping straight to a 4... :lol:

the thing i am waiting for is support for 3x 9800GX2 on 1 mobo

just think of that with 8gb DDR3 raptures with the upcoming 8 cores from intel, just think of the scores in 3Dmark06
