Hi, I'm looking for a very cheap graphics card to replace an AGP card - and think I've settled on one of these two cards around the £30 range.

Any suggestions which to go for? I'm wondering what the 2400 has over the 1650, seeing as it appears to give 20% lower frame rates in the online reviews I have seen...

I'll be installing it in a AM2 5000+ with 1gb of ram, and play some games, but I'm not too fussed about blistering frame rates (as you may guess from my budget!)

Cheers

I would say that youve got things wrong, because there are no agp 2400s so for starters thats not true, as for a x1650, i thought it was only the x1600 that was AGP.

Sorry.. I meant I'm upgrading from an old AGP card to a new PCI-E one.. :) And which out of the X1650 and HD2400 is better value for money?

The HD 2400 will be better because of power consumption, i would myself go for nothing less than a HD 3850 or a X1950 in terms of useful power. If you honestly wont do any gaming, then the HD 2400 is a good option.
