Hi all,

We have a web site written in asp.net here http://intouchsoftware.co.uk/
(don't worry Aria it's for charity fundraising software so not really a competitor)

However we have a user using a mac that claims the site does not function at all. i.e. the menu items do not work.

Can any mac users confirm or deny the site works. ( suspect it may be that the user has java turned off )

Thanks.
S.

Have you tried Adobe BrowserLab to test things out? :)

Added after 7 minutes:

Actually, forget that.. I forgot, that purely shows you what a site looks like, rather than how in functions..

But search for online browser tests or something similar, and you should be able to test it for yourself :)

Does that cost money?? we're a struggling company at the moment, hence no professional designers hence the crappy web site. :(

Tried to go to the browserlab pages and it seemed to hang.. ?!?!?!

Thanks though.

just got ur added reply.. most of what I can find just renders the home page in different browsers, for which I usually use http://browsershots.org (http://browsershots.org/)

Thanks again.

Site navigation requires Javascript to be on, are they able to load but not navigate? If so then that's the issue.

Cheers.

I think as I said in the opening post that the user has java disabled.

Thanks again all.

What with all you wonderful testers to hand.. the apple store sounds like hard work ;)

Talking of testers, the software we've written is quite generic and is basically a tailor your own database program.

We have ideas in the company to produce a lite version, which would be free for personal use. (Lite being fully fledged and free, but only for personal use)
I wonder if anyone on here would like to test the lite beta? it won't be for a while but thought I'd mention it anyway.

I'm always up for testing as well as any little bit of dev that you need.

TS is a great graphic artist dispite his age, he is currently doing some work for me and he is A*, fast turnaround of about a day and an unbeatable rate.
