Hi Guys,

We've being doing a lot of research the past few days and have decided to update our current Gaming PCs and create new ones. The Sandy Bridge release has totally created a storm in the gamers world so we have tried to fit systems around what we feel is best per price point with the right hardware rather than clog our Gaming PCs up with 15+ different but similar specs.

All our PCs use Mushkin memory and Corsair PSUs only powered by MSI, Gigabyte and ASUS boards.

Anarchy GTX P67 Gaming PC

Great build and great specs but I would expect a better case for that money. Sorry if I sound like a snob but people want a little uuummmpppp for a gaming pc looks wise if anything for it to walk the walk with your mates, it just looks like a black box I have that case as good as it is it's very dull. Now I am off to run and hide.

Yeah but people can always request another case if they're not happy with it. They do seem quite popular though :)

Love the look of that Carbon GT, thing is, could you swap the 580 for a pair of SLI 570s? I like my 3D Vision stuff and it generally runs better with more GPU welly.

Waiting for the insurance company to get back to me and if they write up a cheque, I will definately be buying a system from yourselves.

Hello. I'd just like to ask a question about the Anarchy GTX P67 PC.

I've never fully understood the whole specs of computers, etc. As I've never used or had a PC for gaming. It's always been laptops for simply browsing the internet.

Anyway, I'm looking to buy a PC for strictly gaming, that can run the latest games with ease.

I'm just wondering if the Anarchy PC will be able to run top end games like 'Crysis' etc.

Thanks for the help :)

Just spoke to a very helpful gentleman called Steve who quoted me an incredible price for a tweaked Carbon GT. Once im done educating my retarded insurance company on the difference between a normal 60GB hard drive and a Vertex 2E i'll be able to pull the trigger. That or a ฃ1500 Comet voucher. WTF am I going to do with that? Buy a washing machine?

Will replace my precious here, look at her.... all distraught thanks to the great Unholy pregnant one.

Great. Erm, is there much difference between the Infinity GTX and the Anarchy rig?

My budget is around ฃ600, so the Infinity would do nicely as it's quite cheap, or would the extra money would be worth getting the Anarchy instead?

And again, i'm not sure how good those specs are, but it's nice to see it's overclocked to 4.20ghz. From what i've figured, that's pretty powerful.

And as long as either of these computers could 'defintely' run the latest games no problem, then it'll be an instant 'yes' from me. Plus, chances are I'll be buying some 'older' games first, like STALKER. And I'm guessing the Infinity will dominate that, and beyond.

One question though, are all of these PC's already built with those full list of specifications installed? Reason I'm asking this, is because I wouldn't know how to set one up, so.. it'd be nice knowing it'll be all ready to go when it arrives.

Thanks.

Edit: Oh! And one more important question.. how long do the 'Superspecial offers' last? Wouldn't want to miss out on such good deals :).

These look awesome and should I come into money will be looking at them seriously.

One question though, the difference between the Phantom and the Carbon seems a bit strange to me.

This may be me being a complete noob, so apologies if this is the case!

The more expensive Phantom obviously has the extra GTX580 card, pimped out case and presumably higher spec motherboard and hard drives but apart from that it seems to be similar except that it has the older i7 chip at a slower speed and it has 6gb memory compared to 8gb on the Carbon.

Personally If I were going for the Phantom at over ฃ2K, I would want the latest i7 chip at the faster speed and the 8gb memory.

Is that right or have I missed the point?

People are paranoid about this SB chipset issue. They hear one thing about it in the news and think it's Y2K all over again. Suits me fine tbh, because of that it's kept the prices of the i7 950s up and why the insurance company is coughing up ฃ1650... WAHOO!

Hi There

The main difference between the 2 machines is the Anarchy comes with the new 2nd Gen (Sandybridge) CPU i5 -2500K. Whereas the Infinity has the 1st Gen i3 540.

Both are very good mid range gaming systems with the very popular GTX 460 Graphics card and 4GB DDR3 Ram.

All the systems will arrive fully built and tested and any Overclocks applied.

You will need an Operating System as these 2 PC's don't have Windows installed (Windows 7 Home Premium 64Bit is the most popular OS that we sell)

You can request an Operating System when you purchase and we can install it for you just call our Sales team they will be happy to help :)

What kind of stress testing do you do to test stability on the overclocks?

Mine's been ordered at 4.7Ghz and I know some poor folks have been struggling with 4.6 at times.

I just build the systems mate, i'm not 100% sure how the guys test them so I don't want to say anything on here in case i'm wrong. All I can say is that the PC will not leave our department unless it's fully stable with or without OC.

Awesome, good to know.

On the Asus P67 boards do you hook the hard drives upto the two gray Intel SATA III ports, and the Blu Ray drives in the Marvell SATA III?

Just to avoid the lovely SATA II issue, and get the hard drives ticking over nicely off the Intel ports which are faster?

Sorry with all the questions mate, i'm a sucker for the details. lol

Sorry for not replying sooner.

The hard drives do take priority over optical drives so these are allocated to Intel SATA III ports and then the Marvell SATA III for remaining drives

In your case it would be setup exactly as you suggested.

Some PC's such as the Dominator have 2 external SATA connections these are put in the Marvell SATA III and the DVD in one of the remaining SATA II ports as there is also an SSD and 1TB Hard Drive to go on the Intel SATA III.

Hope this helps with your query

Mate, for gaming, the core i3 will do the job for you. Just remember that you have to buy windows as well which will set you back by ฃ75. Go for the core i3 system.
