It looks promising! The performance hit in WinRAR by enabling the patch is crippling!!!

No if only they can ramp up the speeds too, then we will have a very competitive market and Intel will maybe have to reduce the prices even more :evil:

two years ago a decent spec dual core was well over £300 - now Intel some immense Quad and Dual CPUs for less than half that - Intel have been great recently!

Remember - you don't HAVE to buy an Intel Extreme CPU!

Yeah but since Intel launched the C2D and C2Q prices have plunged.

all the time the best intel could offer was the Pentium D AMD saw no reason fro dropping the prices of the Athlon 64 x2 range.
