Haven't seen any other etailers doing this. Supply some wet and dry (400 grit, 800 grit, 1200 grit and 1600 grit) and a small sheet of glass?

from what i have seen these are priced way over the odds . luckily i dabble in a lot of automotive diy , so always have this stuff available .

Didn't realise that people we still doing this, i know it was popular with P3's back in the good ol' days
anyway local hardware shop will gladly supply I'm sure

I know you can get W&D from Halfords and stuff but it would be nice for a lapping kit with a sheet of glass.

yeah ok i can see that point , but to be honest ive lapped a lot of heatsinks , and never used glass lol , just my fingers

LOL the Glass should be float glass and should be used as a known flat surface.

You need to lap on a perfectly flat surface, I never knew fingers could be that flat :S

yes i know , hence why i said I can see that point . Just saying I never have actually used glass , but have always had good results with my cooling :mrgreen:
