I never understand the looks of a huge air cooler like yours Wonderlust, it just takes up too much room and looks ugly imo lol, no offence.

keeps my Q6600 running nice and cool even when I push it to 3.6Ghz and beyond...

oh and under normal circumstances @ 3Ghz it's silent under full load.

The 480 is there for... er... Insurance Purposes... ;).

Also I hate air coolers as they look out of place lol, h50 looks beautiful in my case (Kinda went a bit OCD by making sure the Corsair logo isn't at an angle and it's the right way round) it looks especially nice it's black and my case is black when I look through my panel window I :drool: lol.

any particulare reason the top hdd is upside down?

Or is it due to the Corsair PSU cable being tidier with the drive upside down due to the sata connectors being set for top mounted PSUs rather than bottom mounted PSUs

(if that makes much sense)

Yeah its because of the SATA power cable. I had to mount i upside-down otherwise the power cable stuck out too much and the side wouldn't close :P well, it stuck out becuase it would point upwards meaning the cable had to bend back downwards.

I cheated in the end, as the HX is modular didn't use the Sata modular cable, used the molex with molex to sata adaptors :lol: :P

I tried to keep it as tidy as possible but due to the amount of cables and the thickness of the Corsair power cable there isnt enough room behind the motherboard tray for all the loose stuff. And the case doesnt have many wiring holes in the perfect place. Thats one reason why i was looking at getting the Antec 1200

A system I have just had in for a new PSU and extra HDD

Didn't touch the positioning of the inverters or CCFLs.

Swapped the front 80mm fan for an Antec Tricool LED fan
Swapped failed Winpower PSU for an OCZ Stealth X Stream 400w
Removed Heatsink that was only held on with 2 pins :eek:

cleaned off old TIM and replaced with AS5.
Major tidy up of wiring and rerouted some under the motherboard.
Corrected the orientation of the hard drives, cleaned off loads of dust etc...
installed a new 1Tb drive.

Before the case I have stripped my trusty old G15 Keyboard down for a clean - last time was when my wife was five months pregnant with my eldest who is now 3 and 1/4 :P

After spilling a rather large glass of brandy over it last night I decided it was time for a clean so *under the hood* of teh keyboard ..........
