I think outlook, powerpoint, excel & word should be. The rest could come at a small charge

They are actually working on a "limited" version of office to be cloud based freebie, then charge for "full version".

They can't do that for the same reason that they now have to offer everyone a choice of browser in a splash screen.

Hello this is MICROSOFT Windows 7, heres are internet Explorer, then everyone else is;

Whaaaaaaaat!!! you can't have just YOUR OWN internet explorer in YOUR OWN operating system.

Just stupid.

Nevermind that IE is crap anyway.

That never even worked, as you still have IE there in the install, the browser choice in an update. Whenever i install 7 i just close it down and do what i like.

I have never had an issue with it but one less level of security like this has to be good for the consumer.

Have to disagree with you here (I agree IE is crap). Bundling programmes into the OS is Monopolistic and prevents competition. It was MS building IE into Windows which killed Netscape for example.
