New PC wont boot. MB or PSU?

Hi Guys.

Just built my new server and it wont boot!

I press the buttons and the fans all spin for 1 sec and turns off....Thats it:(

Ive tried everything people tell me and ive read.

Currently MB and PSU on its own on my desk and still doesnt work.

Anything else to try before i kick it in?
Ive tried standoffs, cables, CMOS

I dont have any other parts to try so dont know if i need to call an RMA on the board or PSU.

The only thing i can think of is that i dont have an extra 4 pin cable from the PSU to plug into the 12EATX socket. Ive plugged the one you take apart from the MB plug and that does nothing. Doesnt even spin the fans..

Spec are Asus P5B
Xilence 420w PSU
Corsair XMS2.

I dont want to call my first RMA:(

Looking at the PDF on the xilence website it says:

Connectors:
20+4mb
4 pin 12Vmb
6 pin PCI express
Etc
Etc

I dont seem to have 2 4 pin plugs? Only one thats plugged into the 20pin MB plug to make it a 24 pin..

Am i missing somthing here?:|

AH **** IT!!!!

Just found it! 2 of the 4 pins were stuck together to make an 8 pin...When looking at it i could just see the join!

You popped up on msn last night as i was leaving and said you had the 20pin plug in and the 4pin of that, as i was going, you could have had it sorted otherwise :lol:
