I did martial arts for a while, kickboxing mainly, but eventually got bored after 3 years or so and quit, it did keep me reasonably fit though.

Recently i started jogging, monday to friday i get up around 6.30am have breakfast (bowl of cereal and glass of fruit juice) and do some stretching then go for a jog. At the moment i only do a mile or so but i have just started, well this is the 4th week, the main reason for me doing this really is i decided i needed to do something to get fit, and after not doing much in the way of exercise for a few years other than a game of 5 aside approx once a fortnight i REALLY need to start off slowly.

When the nights are lighter, after the clocks go forward i might dust off my mountain bike and put a few miles in on that too.

Not really sport i know but something to start the section off with.

Weights & boxing at gym couple of times a week, although not had chance as of late.

Mountain biking several times a week in the summer. Winter generally weekends - Bit of XC, Freeride and Downhill on my Santa Cruz Heckler. Will find some actual pics later...

Mainly decorating at the mo.

I used to do various Martial Arts, (Judo, Karate, Boxing, Kenpo Ju-Jitsu, Muay Thai)
Love the way you can get out all your frustration plus it was fun.
Will be getting back to it when finished renovating the house.

im still in the middle of building my gym, well.....ok i have lots of free weights and when our youngest was born i had to take down the bench and stuff. so its not really a gym but a big shed but 14"/10" should be plently tho, just need to get the steps upto it done this week end really.

im out of shape now too, not touched any of this stuff in 28 month now so i have wasted away a bit. i plan to have it all done over this summer tho :)

I wish I had the money, and lived in my own place so I could have a weight-room setup. As fun as it is down the gym because you get to talk to interesting people... you still have to get there. That said I suppose I need the help with spotting.

Also I hate jogging, so I'd need a cross-trainer.

whats the odds of this summer being another washout?

Yesterday managed to sort the garden out, been planting a few large growing shrubs to give some privacy against next door neighbours ridiculously low fence, every 30 minutes tropical jungle downpours followed by 30 minutes of sun.

I had a beer in the house everytime it rained :lol:

I think you probably had more beers than you planted your shrubs it rained that much.

Spent most of my adult life in gyms or involved with various martial arts.
Lot of time (and money) is now spent taking/following my 10yr old son and his ice hockey career.
I sit here now with crispy shoulders after being sunburned on saturday whilst camping with the ice hockey fraternity.
Happy days....... :D .until i move my arms!
