Been having an issue recently with my Android 2.2 phone (LG Optimus One) in that I get the error:
"Sorry, the player does not support this type of audio file"
when trying to play any mp3 in the phones default media player. This is odd as:
1. This started happening suddenly. The player worked fine before.
2. The Winamp application for Android plays them fine.
3. If set as a ringtone, the phone can 'preview' the mp3s in the menu and they play fine.
Rebooting has no effect. The mp3s are from a mixture of sources, mainly ripped from CD's by both Winamp and iTunes. They have no DRM.
Anybody else had this problem? Google was no help.

Well it was all hidden when i got it , but after i took it out for a while whilst i sent my phone to HTC as i thought it was the handset, got my phone back put the card in still the same ...... then looked on the card on my pc and i wasnt allowed to change anything ie remove and add music it was all " copwritten" buy some one . What size card you get ? and where you buy it from ?

It's a 16GB card, I got it off ebay brand new. I don't have any problems with writing to and removing things from the card so I don't think that's the issue. I also formatted the card when I got it.
