x2 3800 cpu from Aria :)

Got my second x2 on Wednesday, ordered it from Aria and it arrived quickly and best of all it was half the price of my first one. It runs cooler and out of the box before tweaking im getting 2.6 out of it and it idles at 30 degrees , id grab one quick if they have any left :D

ps i will get more than 2.6 but im going to burn it in some more and then see how far it goes before topping out

yeah , i got 2.7 with mine , but needed some serious voltage.

the thing with processing this things, is that everything is labeled differently depending on what motherboard your using. and the underlying theory is pretty complex too.

bascially the key is to set a ratio beetween your processor speeds, and your memory speeds. so you can still get a processor FSB equivalent to 260, but still leaving your pc3200 memory that you nicked from your 2500+ athlonxp rig at speeds it can handle.
