Anyone for staying up and watching the action from the gabba tonight? Any predictions as to the outcome? Think the Australians will nick it 2-1 this year

Not looking good so far, Strauss out first for 0 and a Hat-Trick already, could be messy!

Yeah the media hype machine over played England's chances.
Where have we heard that before...?

I used to hate cricket, but as I've gotten older the intricacies of it have started to appeal more and more.

thats because its a thinking mans game. also dont think england are that far off, 340 would probably be a decent score on that pitch. few quick wickets and the game is evens again

England are on fire at the moment, it will be a big test for the Aussies this one.... However, cut me in half and it's red, white and blue without stars.....

I thought it was business as usual after the second day, but what a recovery by England :) Wish I was able to watch it now.

Prefer watching the highlights, no waiting for the bowlers to .. well bowl!

Much better 1st day for England in the second test - Australia all out for 245. Let's hope England can continue their batting form :)

What the hell happened to our batsmen? So much for finally winning a test in Perth! I guess there is still a little hope if Australia can be bowled out quickly in their 2nd innings.

Isn't cricket more corrupt than horse racing and boxing?

I much prefer one dayers.

One nighters are more fun ;)

I'm sure there is corruption, but I find it hard to believe that there would be any in an Ashes test.

I've been "following" it closely, not been able to watch it because of working commitments, but still cool to keep up :)

Pretty poor show by England last night tbh, but we'll see where things go now.

I don't care if the current Australian side is a pale shadow of the previous one, great to see England finally winning so convincingly in Australia :)

:clap

Irrelevant point anyway, as the England side is the best in recent years, and would've done some damage against even the last school of Australia.

Excellent series win. Last time we won it down under, was the year I was born (but before I was born) so this is on par with hosting a football World Cup in my life time.

Chuffed to bits :)
