I see nothing wrong with it. I use CS3 at work on a P4 2.5GHz Processor and only 1GB ram so it should be fine.

Nooooo!

Okay clock speed does not been better performance.
Get a: E2160, it will beat any P4 out there....... For a competitive price, it overclocks to 3ghz too without much trouble. It will double productivity, maybe quadruple.

I agree unless youve already got an old P4 cpu, or mobo which only takes a P4 cpu go for a e2140, e2160 or e2180.

Theres so much more to it than Mhz speed. Most importantly the core itself.

Toms hardware Oc'd a e2140 to 3.5 ghz recently anyhow if you want Ghz bragging rights!

Hi All,

I'm back for some help!!!!!! BIG TIME,

On the ABit IL9 Pro Intel 945P (775) Quickcode: #25424
it has a ATX 12V 4-Pin Power Connector, this connector supplies the power to the CPU,but the
Xilence 600W Gaming Edition PSU Quickcode: #27930
only has 1x 2pin....2x 6pins...and 1x 8 pin.
do i need a new PSU.or new pair of glasses.

Thanks

Hi Grayman,

If you look closely the 8pin connector should split into 2x 4pins :)
You can use either of these.
