after gettin the dvd recorder all set up to output hdmi ...i put a dvd in the recorder and waited to see the difference in upscaling hdmi and what happened.............nothing .......blue screen.....decided to try the other hdmi input on the set and nothing...same blue screen..
tried different hdmi cable ....nothin again..

Most TVs and big monitors have an onsite warrenty, so you don't need to send it back - I think Tecos is covered by a company called Invec...

Take a look at http://www.invec.com/ to see if they can help - should be a simple case of swapping it out...

hi..
just to let u know that this set was purchased from aria on 25th june 2007...so i am assuming that this should be sorted by aria and not a 3rd party :mad::mad:

It would be quicker to go straight to the manufacturer for a problem such as this as Aria is the 3rd party, and will simply send it off to the Invec for testing.

hi...so it would not be possible to have a straight swap for a new tv as i have limited funds now..

Normally on TVs they collect it from your house, take it away for repair and then drop it back off again - not sure how Invec operate...
