Well having been a Nvidia fan boy for quite some time it feels odd to ask
but this card

has some awesom reviews, it's well above an 8600 series but below the 8800. Is it worth waiting for the 9xxx geforce series and picking up a 8800 card which i asume should drop in price pretty quickly. Or is this a the one to go for? I'm aware the 3870 series is better but im working around a £100 budget. I play lots of fps Crysis (shudders) ut3 etc.

Opinions

I'd expect a drop in price, but from 250 to 100, i really doubt it. If you play a lot of FPS I'd really say save your money for a while and buy a very decent card :D. Stick with nvidia and you'll never go blind
