I agree with scrivz69 here. Surely the winners are the closest people to the answer which are the people who said 23:50.

I wouldn't say that's actually fair. In every other competition it's the closest answer wins, both people who said 23:50 are equally close whereas the people who said 23:49 are actually 11x more incorrect than the people who said 23:50. :p
Remember it's all about luck anyway since no-one except Aria Staff knew the answer.

I agree that those that said 23:50 are the closest and those that said 23:49 should not be included in the draw.
Perhaps in future when these types of comps are done it would be wise to inform people of the format in which the correct answer will be given.
So for these types of comps... let everyone know the answer will be in H/M/S
