I have received my Galaxy from Orange but as usual it is full of their bloatware. Can some give me an idiots guide to getting the best firmware for the phone also how to do it. I have already unlocked the phone to all networks.

Oddly enough Vodafone sent me a txt this morning saying the Froyo 2.2 update was (finally) available to download. In the change log they mention something along the lines of:

"Due to feedback from customers the update will remove some services and applications"

Then goes on to talk about how to manually re-install their absolutely abysmal 360 applications again. Also removes the jerky Vodafone start-up and shut down animations. No more bloatware woooo!
