My brother is going of to Saaf Africa in a few week and my parents wanna get him one as a Christmas present before he departs, got my eye on the IXUS 105.
Any other suggestions?

That's a pretty nice deal, it's over £160 elsewhere, and the x15 zoom would be really nice for holidays in places like SA where you might want to photograph the wildlife on safari :)

Cheers lads, went for the Panasonic FS-10, managed to get it for 89 quid :).
Used some Sammys before, but haven't been too impressed by their picture quality :(
