can see it being built on mobo's with no case.

Blimey. Good thing I have a Macro Super Extended ATX (GTX edition) case at the ready :)
And only one 6pin PCI-E. They're doing a good job at keeping the power consumption down :D

It's PCI-E, not AGP. The connectors are clearly PCI-E 16x size. You can also tell because of the SLI connector behind the second heatpipe and the 6pin PCI-E power socket. It was an edited 7800GTX 512mb (or Dell/Foxconn 256mb) or 7900GTX 512mb.
