Hey,

Since Alienware will be releasing there monitor for around £2500 or more (http://video.tomshardware.co.uk/video/iLyROoaftDNz.html)

Why dont Aria do there own version by stick 3 24" monitors together which will cost £633 ! ALOT cheaper and i would say people would buy it because its good and very cheap.

Ofcourse you would need to add around £200 onto the price to add the racks to hold them in place etc.. but still hell of alot cheaper and i would buy one !

I like your idea but only if it comes with a "spoiler shelf"

Er, you'd also need a Matrox TripleHead2Go (or similar) for a few hundred quid, else you'd have three monitors with seperate resolutions rather than one large resolution display.

And those Acer monitors are ****. =/

i think this is a great idea, only downside would be it would bring mine, and almost everyone elses pcs to a grinding halt of a slideshow as soon as we tride to game at full res.

as for that alienware one, im pretty sure that that was just 4 rear projection units aimed at 1 big panaramic screen.

1) No, since full resolution would be the resolution of ONE of those panels (1920x1200) - you can't stretch them into one massive panel without aid of a Matrox TripleHead2Go or similar.

2) It's an LED-illuminated DLP display.
