Anyone know of any way I can make vegas use all 4 cores better?

so far its taken 50 mins to render a 6.30 min video from 1080i to 720 and it only seems to be using 50/60% of each core, id rather it use 80-90% and take 40 mins :|

ive followed a few guides on YT but none of them help much as the video quality is awful.

how long is the video?

my mate uses vegas and doesnt really have any problems as such like that..

the only real way to get an improvement for this would be to get an i7 cpu tbh.

otherwise i wouldnt have a clue lol

The videos are about 6 or 7 mins long and im downsizing them but changing the format so it better quality for YT.

It never used to take so long so perhaps I just need to restart or something? Its only using 50% or so of all 4 cores which is why its taking so long :(
