hey ppl,
I built my new pc from scratch the componets are listed below:

2.4 quad core CPU

Asus Intel Socket SKT 775 P5N32-E SLI Plus motherboard

2x2 gig sticks of PC6400 DDR2 ram

8800GT 512mb graphics card

850 watt Thermaltake W0131RE

I put it all together and im getting no signal to my monitor which worked fine with my old PC. I tested the PSU and powered my old PC fine, The graphics card worked in my friends comp fine.
I'm thinking there could be a fault in my mobo?
Help me out guys please!!

Remove the ram and see if you get any bleeps... Also, does the gfx have all the power connected to it?

Secondly, does that mobo recognise quad cores as standard? Or do you need to update bious?

I've tried removing the ram and still no beep and the gfx does have power connected to it.
how can you tell if the mobo recognises quad core as standard?

Go onto the aria website on the mobo you bought, then see the support list. Is there a speaker attached so beeps can be heard? I would say without any beeps its a mobo problem. Are all the power connectors on the mobo connected?

Also, tried resetting CMOS?

yea just checked my mobo supports the cpu, yea the 24pin and 4pin atx power cables are all connected and iv tried resetting the CMOS but still nothing.

I cant find a speaker in the case or on the mobo so thats probs why i cant hear any beeps.
