I recently purchased the ATi Radeon X1650 PRO 512MB PCI-Express (code 27248) off Aria, but it did not have a standard VGA port (The picture showed one, the description didn't make any comment). I know it was probably a one off, but I am now a little cautious on choosing my replacement.

Does anybody know if the nVidia GeForce 73000GT 512MB PCI-E card (code 29629) does have a VGA port? Is that the D-SUB mentioned in the caption?

Cheers,
Mark

D-SUB is also referred to as VGA and CRT output. So yes, that GeForce will be fine.

Why not just try and pick up a DVI>VGA Adaptor?

@Hosser: Thanks

@Aaron: It means having yet something else plugged into the back. How do I know what type of DVI port I have? Because I've just read there's DVI-I and DVI-D, and there seems to be a DVI-M?

Out of curiousity does the card have x2 DVI's or just 1?

One of these would do nicely anyhow

The card has 2x DVI (and I think it has an S-VIDEO too).

Hmmm... temping, because with the RMA I'd have to post the card back too...

Is the future going DVI? I really have no ideas any more.

Yes if you buy a new TFT 99% of decent ones have DVI, it gives a digital picture, slightly better colours and I can tell the difference in photoshop work/detailed games.

x2 DVI of gfx cards is pretty standard nowadays too. So converter is definetely the best option.
