Ok, not my usual sort of offering or subjects, but I went to this with my girlfriend as her sister was riding in the event yesterday.

First time I've shot horses and some of the shots were ok, most were a bit pants in my view (girlfriend thinks they are all really good :/).

Some nice shots there, the second from last (over the tyres) is the best IMHO. I like the low viewpoint and the way the horse and rider stands out from the background.

Yeah, I was trying to get shots from the side like that as well as frontal ones (really wanted one of the horse launching over a jump from the front) but girlfriend's sister kept going off before I could catch up...plus the horse was being a pain and mucking about.

Most of the pics aren't that good in my opinion but I figured I'd share as it's always good to have different subjects shown to members here.

I need to use the camera a lot more (despite the fact I've rolled over 10k actuations) and really learn it more and get better. :)
