right i know i just got my phone today but im not happy with the contract i got and feel as if im wasting money. £35 a month for the galaxy S on vodaphone with 600 minutes unlimited texts and 500mb of internet a month.
where i seen online for the same price i can get 900 minutes unlimited texts and 750mb of internet a month from the vodaphone website.
tmobile are doing the galaxy S for yet again the same price £35 a month with 1200 minutes, unlimited texts via a flex booster, unlimited internet and an 8 gig memory card :|
with contract phones can you return it within 28 days like you can with near enough everything else? or is there a 'get out' thing if you just dont like the phone because thats what im going to do tomorrow. go to phones4u and say i had a play around and dont like it
you guys help would be much appreciated!
You can indeed return it as I did with the Wildfire. Just phone the operator and they should arrange delivery and pickup as Three did for me. Very painless indeed.

phone for delivery and pick up? would i have to contact vodaphone or phones4u? or am i as well just going to the same shop as i went to today as i will be going into town tomorrow anyway.
Go back to the shop and they will probably sort the same deal out for you anyway.

but the deals are online, will they not turn round and say "oh there online only deals" hopefully i'll be able to just cancel the contract as i have only had it for like a day and i think you have about 7-14 days to return it although im not sure.

Try going back to Phones4U and if that resolves nothing, call Vodafone and let them know you're unhappy with their offer and you're prepared to walk away. I'm sure they'll sort you out then. Even if they "lose" money (don't rip you off as much as they do) they would rather keep you as a customer than lose you entirely.

you might struggle m8 as some say once the sim has been activated you cant give it back
Yeah if its from a shop most will not accept it back once the sim card has been used.... Saying that most online places are the same actually. If the sims not touched you'll be ok.
Three were good with me, I played the card that I wanted a different phone and they offered me the wildfire saying it's an upgraded version which in reality, is far from it, a cut down version.
I am so glad they did swap it. I love the Galaxy S, best phone I have ever had.
Taken from the Phones4u website
Can I return a purchase I made in store?
Pay Monthly Phones, Broadband Dongles and SIM Only Contracts
Phones4u does not operate a 14 day return period on Pay Monthly Contracts.
Will be interesting to see what they say when you actually go in.
Yeah I suspected as much. If the sim isnt used you should still be ok within 7 days. If its used you better hope you catch the Manager on a good day.
