It's been a while since I built a computer and a lot has changed. I've read all the specs and I think these should fit together, but I was wondering if anybody who was more up-to-date was willing to let me know if something is incompatible

Thanks in advance!

looks fine to me but if you give us a budget and some idea of what the system is to be used for then i'm sure someone could knock up something better or change a few things on it :)

oh and welcome to the forum 8)

Wow, that was fast, thanks. Budget is about £350-400. Mostly the system will be used for application and game development, so something like VB.2005/2008 Express. But also wanted something to play the odd game, like Unreal Tournament 3.

Thanks, but I am confused why you have a PSU on there where the case comes with a 400W one?

Normaly the PSUs that come with a case are of a poor quality.

yeah the PSU+case combo the PSU will be really bad! Corsairs are realiable and have built in component protectors so if anything goes wrong the PSU will die and it wont take the components with it
