Nope, i like having some social life and i refuse to buy a game then pay £x.xx a month just to play it. Also paying per month i would feel obliged to play whether i wanted to or not.

Meh. Opinions are like *******s. If the guy is happy let him be happy. Is he asking you to play it?
Trolling forums is more of a life then I suppose?
LSI Kevin. Try looking on Wowhead.com and Thottbot.com. Both resources for said game. Will help you find things if you get stuck.
Try joining a in-game guild/group. You'll pick up tips and help more easily that way.
Or you could try the game forums. Blizzard something or other.
As moderators you should take a look at the kind of nasty superior attitude you are dishing out. YOU are supposed to be preventing the kind of grief you just gave the poor guy.

I do kinda agree about WOW being dull, that wouldn't make it okay for me to abuse my position were I any kind of moderator.

just remembered about some chinese person that didnt eat or drink for days cos they were playing WOW and they died.

Her nickname was "Snowy" (perhaps inspired by Maggie Cheung's tragic character in Hero?) and her passing was acknowledged in an online funeral service by fellow WoW gamers. A young South Korean boy met the same fate (http://www.joystiq.com/entry/1234000520047842/) back in August and there have been other instances of online game addiction resulting in exhaustion, bodily neglect, and death.
