I have a Jetway M2A692-GHG-PB AMD 690G and I can't get the thing to power up. The fan on the heatsink works so power is getting through the MB but nothing else.

Have onboard graphics so don't need extra card yet!!

I have PC 5300 DDR 667 RAM which I believe is the right RAM but lost for ideas as to how to get this thing to work.

Any ideas anyone or do you reckon the board needs to go back?

Please help!

Boot it without the Ram, do you get any bleeps?

Assuming the motherboard either has a beeper on board or one plugged into the header on the motherboard then no beeps is not a good sign.

Have you reset the cmos / bios by shorting out the appropriate pins on the motherboard and removing the battery for a few minutes with it unplugged from the mains? If not try this and retry with no memory in.

Have tried to reset CMOS and have taken the battery out.

Still nothing.

Think it could be the way of the dodo!!

does the mobo have a minispeaker in it or have one connected as that might be why theres no beeps.

have tried speakers to the audio but there is nothing even showing up on the debug port.

The fans work but nothing else.

Think I will send back as only arrived mid-week.

Not sure if there is one and the manual does not say!

open the case and see if you find out, if not thats why there are no beeps or anything.
