Desire HD would be my phone of choice... If you can afford some pennies up front you can reduce your monthly bill which works out cheaper over all :thumb:

Orange Dolphin 25 (24 Months)
With 300 mins & Unlimited texts + 500MB data per month
Your monthly line rental will be £25.00

OR

It's also very much worth checking out Quidco as they have some fantastic cashback deals on contract phones (have to wait about 3 months for cashback though).
Quidco offer on Orange contract = £140 cash back

Same place also has it on T-Mobile (as do e2save)

600 Mins Any
Network Anytime + 500 Texts
+ Unlimited web browsing

for £25 per month and £29.99 for the phone

I got mine from e2save last week (when they were not charging for the phone).

The only thing with buying the T-Mobile one from either of them is they give you the 1GB internet as a booster, so you are limited to 350kbps speeds, a quick phone call to T-Mobile telling them the speeds were slow and I had an Android device and I was getting 1.8mbps speeds on the 3GB FUP.

You can get the Galaxy S on the same deal for no upfront costs from both (and also some possible redemption).

i think im gonna go galaxy s because its a bit smaller and it works out cheaper

the price is:

£18.75
monthly

Standard Price
£25.00

and also its says i can choose 6 months free by redemption

so that means that i pay £18.75 a month and get 6 months free

right?

no

that means that you pay £25 a month, you collect certain bills and keep them safe (they'll tell you the specifics when you sign up), and after set periods you post them of to them and cross your fingers that they pay money back into your account at some point.

sometimes works, sometimes doesn't.

ahh i see

this is what it says:
Line Rental
£25 monthly
Effectively £18.75 monthly with cashback

btw why wouldnt it work?

It's £25 per month with 6 months free which you have to redeem. I don't know the ins and outs but I would imagine you would pay £25 per month up front and then claim the money back.

The £18.75 is worked out from £25 x 24months - £25 x 6 months which is equivalent to paying £18.75 over 24 months.

cos sometimes you do everything just right, and they just don't pay out.

happened to us twice now.
no money, no explanation, no answer to our badgering

Be very sure to read through their T&C's and know exactly what your getting , in terms of redemption, from them as they (mobiles.co.uk and E2Save) are notoriously difficult to deal with regarding paying you out at the end of your contract - from what I've read anyway.

Here's a thread on MSE that might be of interest to you before you opt for any hasty deals with the sites you mentioned:

Hope that helps. :)
