Android market down?

Weird.. with my Sony X10 mini pro, connected to the internet via wifi, apps are failing to downloaded.. with
'download unsuccesful' :(
I just restored my phone aswell.. .
The same thing happens with 3G.

and, i can browse the web and everything fine..

any ideas?

Happened to me once off and on it :).

When it happened to me it was to do with the google account i was using. Try that. Perhaps create a new account then re sync with you old account

i've turned it off and on quite a bit. still the same.
just restored again.
I've done some reading and apparently its because of the wait i inputted my google account.. we'll see.
i'm pretty sure i put it in as @gmail.com, instead of @googlemail.com... well we'll see.. hopefully this works :)

gah, i've restored twice since my last post.
one time using @googlemail.com, that failed.
this time using @gmail.com (one of my receipts are addressed to @gmail.com)
still failed.

tystar, what do you mean re sync with my old account? :S
I can't change my google account after i've put it in the first setup. :(

I have 2 accounts now linked to my phone 1 being googlemail and 1 gmail. The googlemail is the new account linked to the market and gtalk and the gmail is everything else.

hmm, it does actually look its a problem that googles looking into fixing..
with the 2.1 update soon, i don't think i'll do what you've done tystar..
the good news is that a few apps have started to download now.. :) (Both my paid ones have :))
though, still a hell of alot of them still fail :(

Mine did it on 2.1.... Not done it on 2.2 though :D

gah, im on 1.6 haha. well as it does look like a common problem.. ill just hope.. some apps are working, ill just keep trying :D
