there's nothing wrong with making clones of games as long as the graphic and sound assets are not direct copies

Well I can't remember the exact layout of plants vs zombies, but it's identical i would say :P.

practice at making games? (from what i've heard it's adequate but not that well written)
there's quite a bit of altruism in the software world, and this may just be one example of that
a lot of advice on game dev boards when learning to write games is "make a clone of a game you like" this guy may have just taken that a little too literally :)
probably giving it away so he doesn't get targeted by lawsuits

Don't worry coiler it isn't quite the same on the iPhone version. There's no Zen garden for starters, and not the same quantity of mini games.

I have played it on my 3G and it gets sluggish when there's lots of zombies, 3GS is probably fine.

3GS version is as smooth as anything.

This android version is not upto much tbh and is quite sluggish. Installed it as liked it on my old iPhone but uninstalled quite quickly as its not upto much tbh.
