Okay guys the girlfriend also needs homeplugs (i already have some).

My understanding is that if you use different brands they need to be the same speed is that right?

I'm looking at these -> http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Networking/Homeplug/TP-Link+85Mbps+Powerline+Adapter+Twin+Pack?productId= 41049

Currently have ebuyers own brand 85mbps in my room and hooked up to the router - looking at them for her.

Would they play nice together?

Homeplugs are ideal mate, cannot recommend them enough!

Who wrote the description of those things?

Complete gibberish:

Establishing a powerline network requires at least two PLC adapters for the first time, the TP-LINK Powerline Ethernet Adapter Starter Kit is good for initially setup which including two same adapters
I mean, what the heck do they mean by "which including two same adapters"? And what about "requires at least two PLC adapters for the first time"?

Always a bit worrying when a supplier, I hope, writes in "Chinglish".

You won't be dissapointed.

I have one connected to the router to give sockets the net, one plugged into an extension by my pc which feeds into a hub to give me another 4 sockets :D
