Hey, supposedly bundled with the Sapphire 6870's is "TriXX", however it's no where to be found on the driver disk.

Furthermore, I'm unable to register my 6870's on the Sapphire site?

Has anyone else had the same problems, or does anyone have the re-released version of TriXX

Here's a link to it http://www.sapphiretech.com/ssc/TriXX/

TriXX at the moment, until there's a viable method of flashing our cards to BIOS's allowing further voltage I.E 1.3v, is the only way to overvolt our 6870's.

Have you tried GPUTool to increase the voltage? I hear it's compatible with the 68's.

It seems to be a very elusive piece of software..

Only ones I can find are a good few years old.
Are there still no hacks for afterburner ? any other sofware tools ?

I'm waiting on info on the Asus BIOS's, then flashing my cards.
EDIT : Also seems that as of so far, the 68XX aren't registrable on the Sapphire site.

They're now listed on the Sapphire site, but I can't seem to register, can anyone register their cards?

Probably going be new MSI AB out in next few days with support for voltage control of 68XX's cards :thumb:

just out of curiosity what advantage will you get by flashing your cards with asus Bios?

There isn't really one, but Smart Doctor seems to be the only thing to control voltage at the moment.

Also, I know the Asus BIOS allows for frequencies higher than the Sapphire's.

Did it work seen some threads saying works for 6850, but not 6870.

Nope it doesn't work.
Only on the 6850.

And Sapphire are still taking the **** with TriXX.

It makes no sense that the 6850 works when the 6870 doesn't, they've got the same voltage regulator, the CHL8214.
