This poll is purely me being curious as to what you guys would choose.
I really wanted to order my PC next week (just handy too with the price cuts on Athlons) and was wondering what I should do.
Get a cheap Athlon 3500/3800 (after Mondays price drop) that looks like it should cope into early next year no problem, thus saving a lot of money for the moment
or
get an Athlon X2 3800 from the start and forget about it for a few years? (It would be for moderate game use.)
I've put 3500/3800 because I'm confident that after the drop, these processors aren't going to have much of a price gap
