Hi new at this so please be kind,i am only allowed 2 HDDs perIDE lead,can i put 2 more pluged into my sata s****ets on the mobo?Can you run both systems at the same time?.:confused:
Yes you can run ide and sata hard drives at the same time.

Thanks Mac124,as you can probaly tell by the name i collect what others throw out,not done to bad,1-95 3-98s-1-xp Mistry and this one 98se,but thought i would build one from scratch,all new,now theres a novelty,lol,i"m 61 and having fun,there are people out there who need bits to keep going if i"v got it they can have it.Thanks again

Nice one mate, 61 and building PC's, who said you cant teach an old dog new tricks? Building PC's is good fun just to know you have actually built it.. and to know it actually works. It lets you know how the PC works and so you know what you are looking for if you decide to upgrade etc..

Hi Coiler,i have so many socket A"s,Semperons-Durons-IntelsP4"s-intels on cards-even a IBM,not one cost me a penny all salvaged-like i said before there are people out there on a tight budget who need bits to keep there old pc"s going if i"v got the bit they need they can have it,then i suppose your to young to rember STIG OF THE DUMP?.Stigtwo
