 I've noticed that adding items from the SuperSpecials to your favourites means you'll be paying more for the item once it's added to the shopping cart...

I reported this on the 4th of December and received a response on the 5th saying that the developers would fix it within 2 days...

It's now 4 days and 22:33, I guess you could call it 5 days unless they're working late on a Sunday.

You can test it yourself (I just did), pick an item from the SuperSpecials section, add the item to your favourites list and at the same time add it to your shopping cart.

Now visit your favourites list and add the item (changed recently to show the inclusive vat, which I believe was probably a way to disguise the figures) to your shopping cart again (from your favourites list view).

You'll see your shopping cart shows the same item x2 but with different prices... the favourite added item will be more expensive! :(

Now, I wonder how many customers of Aria have accidentally paid over the odds for some kit that they had previously added to favourites... on returning they probably didn't even notice the difference in cost...

I've not even seen an apology in the latest news section... that's the least that could have been done whilst it was being fixed.

It's kind of put me off buying anything from the Aria website at present, I don't take kindly to stealth costs...

As far as i know Superspecials are limited and thus first come first serve. I can't see how they could be reserved and saved to a favourite?

That would mean if one item was left on special and someone had that 1 item in their favourites no one else could buy it.

Well, you can... I guess you didn't try it.

Besides, there seems to be enough stock whenever I've logged in seems as the same items are available... like the Q6600 Quad Core Intel processor... it's certainly been in stock (SuperSavers) all week... and so has the mother board that I had in my favourites.

May be it isn't logical, but it works... perhaps that is the answer then, remove the favourites option for supersavers, that way Aria will not be over charging customers.

Yeah I see what you mean, I normally retype my quick codes into Livesearch again anyhow as prices change daily and special finish etc.

Must have happened to me then with a few things, only lost out on about £8 anyway

Sure, £8 here, £8 there... not that much for a single product I guess (price of p&p on some sites)... if you were to buy a number of items, it can easily multiply up though...

Anyway, it's the principle of it more than anything else... but a side from that I consider that I work hard for my money and am not in the market for giving it out to any old tom, **** or harry... there are charities that better deserve it.
